Kalamaki is a long sandy beach resort, situated between Saint Spiridon and Kassiopi. The most notable feature of Kalamaki is the soft sand and the fact that you can walk out for 300m or so and still only be knee deep in water! (Plus, there are no tides!) This makes the water the warmest on Corfu and particularly safe for children. There are 3 excellent tavernas and 2 bars.
